Inspired by Ethel Cain’s twisted religious aesthetic, this piece took 7 months to complete. Using mainly graphic pencil and hints of charcoal to emphasise the dark undertones laced throughout Cain’s music.

This piece is a true representation of my comfort zone. Anytime I find myself unsure what to create I always resort to eyes, this was one of those times. I also found myself returning to using fine liners in my work which I hadn't used since college, so it’s safe to say that “starry eyed” was some much needed nostalgia and comfort for me.

This piece was created on a whim, I had purchased my first set of pastels and decided to experiment and “clown baby” is a direct result of that experimentation. It was such a labour of love and felt like true expression.

Realism is possibly my favourite style of work to create, so “body ody ody” came naturally to me. There’s something therapeutic about trying to figure out the strategy behind highlights and shadows, making them work together to trick the eye.

“puff by the pool” signified my return to working with acrylic paint on canvas. After years of working digitally or on paper I decided to paint again, and I went big. Using bold colours with a quirky animation style of the focal character I wanted to create something far from realism which i’d been doing for years prior. this went on to influence my art of months to come.

“rosy cheeks” is possibly the oldest piece in this first drop. Created 2 years ago, around a time I was doing a lot of cheeky/nsfw pieces I really enjoyed this more simplistic yet still fun take. More colourful than most work i’d been doing around that time, this piece was a breathe of fresh air.

the one and only Billie Eilish, this portrait was the piece that began this entire collection. previously I have loved experimenting with negative space, and a some what unfinished look. This was the first time incorporating this idea into a portrait, and I fell in love and knew this had to be a collection.

After visiting a the V&A Storehouse in London, I was inspired to work on my realistic painting skills so that’s exactly what this piece is. This was achieved using acrylic paint which is typically not the easiest product to use for blending and realism so this was truly a labour of love.
