After visiting a the V&A Storehouse in London, I was inspired to work on my realistic painting skills so that’s exactly what this piece is. This was achieved using acrylic paint which is typically not the easiest product to use for blending and realism so this was truly a labour of love.

the one and only Billie Eilish, this portrait was the piece that began this entire collection. previously I have loved experimenting with negative space, and a some what unfinished look. This was the first time incorporating this idea into a portrait, and I fell in love and knew this had to be a collection.

ABOUT
For a long while now I've been wanting to embrace my artistic side fully. I’ve tried a few times to take myself seriously (as an artist) but I've never been able to fully realise my vision for what this could be. Whether that’s through restrictions in third party fulfilment or simply not having the time to really pour into this side of me. I always found myself feeling disconnected, like I could do better. So, this time it’s all by me. I loved the idea of making really limited drops so that those who managed to get their hands on the works felt they were even more special. So, all works are either original pieces (1 of 1’s) or printed in limited quantities using sustainably sourced materials from Print.Work in Leeds. Each one is numbered and signed by hand by me.
